Bill Roberts has been working with computers for over 35 years; since before they were commonplace. He has a degree in electrical
engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and has been licensed by the state of Washington as a Professional Engineer for 18 years.
Bill has written articles for the King County (WA) Bar Association Bar Bulletin and taught CLE for the Snohomish County Bar Association.
For over 25 years, Bill conducted forensic style investigations into electronic failures in US military electronics to get to the root
cause of failures and design fixes to prevent recurrences. He has been trained in computer forensic techniques by internationally sought
Steve Hailey of CyberSecurity Institute.
Bill has been certified as a CyberSecurity Forensic Analyst, CSFA, by the CyberSecurity Institute. CSFA was
ranked in the top 5 certifications for 2010.. Additional certifications include a Digital Forensics
Certificate from Edmonds Community College, Windows Forensics Essentials and Computer Forensics Core Competencies certificates from CyberSecurity Institute. He has
certificates in Cyber Ethics and Cyber Law and White Collar Crime from the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security.
He holds a DOD TS/SCI security clearance and FINRA series 7 and 66 registrations.
